Crispy Bacon Rolls filled with... all your fantasy !

Bracioline alla Messinese - Meat Rolls

Stripes of bacon and... a microwave !

Roll on "rolled" cooking paper the bacon stripes in order to form a "Cannolo". Place your cannolo into the microwave maximum power from 20 to 40 seconds depending on your Wave model and power. Squeeze a bit the paper and pull out your crispy "cannolo" ready to be filled with your preferred sauce. You can use it also as complementary decoration on a soup (potato soup i.e.) or in many  other different ways. Use the same system preparing vegetables (carrots, aubergines, zucchini...)

Veal or Beef or Pork meat really thiny sliced, bread crumbles (real crumbles) seasoned with salt, pepper, olive oil, chopped garlic and parsley, greated parmesan or pecorino

Cut the meat slices in a sort of small triangles and fill them with some of your crumbled mix, roll the meat and poach it again in the crumbles, put on a skewer 4 to 6 rolls. When ready bbq them or use a hot grill. 20 to 40 seconds each side.

Boiled rice, tomato sauce, meat ragout, soft cheese cubes, beaten eggs, bread crumbles, oil to deep fry (peanuts oil is the better one)

Mix the boiled rice and the thick tomatoes sauce what you obtain has to be dry enough to form consistent rice balls. On you hand build a sort of "half caved ball" and fill it with some of the meat ragout, some cheese cubes. Close with other rice and form the balls, roll them in the beaten eggs and then cover with the bread crumbles. Pay attention forming the balls don't leave air inside, squeeze gently but firmly and if not sure, roll two times into eggs and crumbles your rice balls.

Deep fry your rice balls in the boiling oil 160/170 °C as long as they appear golden and crunchy.
